Tip: Thicker Lashes

If you want thicker lashes, there is a trick that will make the miracle. It's easy, fast and all you need is a good black eye liner length.
1. With the black eyeliner, make small dots on the inside of the upper eyelid.
2. Once you've done this, begin to fill the spaces between the flanges, forming a continuous line. In this step, the outline can be as subtle or intensive as you wish.
3. Curl your lashes, apply multiple layers of mascara and presto, your eyes look more awake and your lashes will look thick as if by magic.

She is a Cat-Girl Inspiration!

Kate Benjamin has become known for some time now because she created something very unusual. She has recycled hairballs of cats and turned them into "jewels". And the idea is not at all bad, because those who live with cats are used to carry them hair on our clothes, why not turn them into fashion accessories? This idea came to commemorate the official day of hairballs in the United States, date (April 27) to become conscious about caring for cats' fur and share information to help prevent formation of hairballs in the stomach of the cat. However, Kate Benjamin says these jewels are made with cat hair that comes with daily brushing, which is the best way to prevent the formation.

Kate says, “I started with a good grooming session with several of the cats, then I hand-rolled each ball of cat fur into a tight bead. By rolling the loose fur between your palms, the strands become felted together, forming a solid little bead. Heidi then transformed the beads using her silversmithing skills and her amazing eye for modern design and voil…!”

An interesting note about fluor

What comes to your mind when you think about flour? Most likely you are thinking of "health for teeth." As many other things, there are reports of world-famous claim that the fluoride does much more than "take care of the teeth" and not necessarily talking about things apparently POSITIVE.

THE FLUOR

Fluorine is a  element relatively abundant in nature and form compounds with most of the elements except the noble gases helium, argon and neon. Fluoride is a very toxic and reactive. Many of its compounds, especially inorganic, are also toxic and they can cause severe burns and deep. Must be careful to prevent liquids or vapors in contact with the skin and eyes.

FLUOR AND TOOTH DECAY?

1.The fluoride inhibits acid-producing enzymes in bacteria of the dental plaque. This observation is valid, but some scientists now believe that the damaging impact of fluoride on other useful enzymes is heavier than beneficial effect of preventing tooth decay.
2.The fluoride ions bind to calcium ions, strengthening tooth enamel in children. Many researchers considered more an assumption than a fact, because of the conflicting evidence from studies in India and other countries during the last 10 to 15 years. However, the agreement is universal that excessive fluoride intake leads to loss of calcium in the matrix of the tooth, producing a amelogenesis imperfecta known as dental fluorosis. Severe overexposure, chronic and cumulative can cause skeletal fluorosis.

NEUROTOXICITY OF FLUORIDE
Sodium Fluoride is currently added to most municipal water systems worldwide. Authorities say that the only objective is to prevent tooth decay in children. Usage has increased rapidly since the 50's.
Sodium Fluoride is also registered with the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) as a rat poison, although advocates say its use at low levels in water poses no adverse health concerns.
There is considerable research on fluoride to cancer, birth defects and risks to the respiratory, gastrointestinal and urinary tracts, however, there is little research regarding its neurological effects.
For many years, scientists in Nazi Germany found that they could weaken the mental functions of humans with intakes of fluoride, the same Nazi scientists were hired by U.S. plans to develop a program of weakening of the human mind to the world Fluorine through from those years significantly increases the intake of fluoride in humans.
Another Chinese study found Attention Deficit Disorders in adult humans, if given sublingual drops containing 100 ppm sodium fluoride.

Apart from drinking fluoridated water, the most common sources of fluoride exposure is processed beverages, toothpastes, mouth rinses, dietary supplements and food. The toothpastes contain 1000 to 1500 ppm of fluoride and mouth rinses contain 230-900 dpi fluoride.
In 1995, in an article entitled "Neurotoxicity of Sodium Fluoride in Rats" which appeared in the journal Neurotoxicology and Teratology, Dr. Phyllis Mullenix J Department of Toxicology, Forsyth Research Institute, in Boston, says:
"It remains unexplored, however, there is the possibility that fluoride exposure is linked with subtle brain dysfunction. This is the first study to demonstrate that the functioning of central nervous system is vulnerable to fluoride and that the behavioral effects age-dependent exposure occurs and that fluoride accumulates in brain tissues. of course, extrapolating behaviors, but a break generic behavioral model as the one found in this study in rats may be indicative potential for motor dysfunction, IQ deficits (IQ) and / or learning disabilities in humans. substances that accumulate in brain tissue potentiate concerns about neurotoxic risk. "
And the same report of Neurotoxicology, Teratology and Preventive Psychiatry reported as fluoride exposure during pregnancy is related to learning disorders (decreased IQ), Attention Deficit Disorders Conduct.

Birth control pills: myths and realities

Although  so many women take the "pill", as it is commonly called birth control pills, we still having doubts about how they work, how effective they are, and how to use them correctly. With so much information circulating about the pill, it is normal to have a big confusion.

Myth: All birth control pills are equal:
Reality: No. Birth control pills for 28 day cycles are most common, with 21 days of active pills and 7 days of rest or inactive pills are called "placebo". But there are others such as the extended cycle for 91 days (84 days of active pills and 7 days of placebo) as Seasonale and Seasonique, and the other which last an entire year as Lybrel. And the “mini-pills” which do not contain estrogen as the others, but only progesterone. Also, each brand of birth control pills has a different composition, which means, different doses of each hormone. And just like a composition can work for you, some women need other combination pills or doses higher or lower. Ask your gynecologist about birth control pills which are most suitable for you.
Myth: All women can or should take birth control pills:
Reality: No. Although a large majority of women can take them from beginning their sexual life until menopause, are not recommended for women over 35 who smoke, or women who have had blood clots, heart disease or liver disease, breast or cervical cancer.
Myth: They are 100% effective in preventing pregnancy:
Reality: No, but close. When birth control pills are taken correctly, are effective in 99.9%. But you can be at risk of becoming pregnant if you take less than a month taking them, if you forget to take them for two days straight, or if you take any medications that reduce their effects, as with the antibiotic rifampin used as one of the treatment of tuberculosis.
Myth: When we stop taking the pills in the bye week, ovulation occurs:
Reality:  Not immediately. Birth control pills help prevent pregnancy by hormones: estrogen and progesterone. These imitate the menstrual cycle making that our body naturally produces hormones that make us ovulate or menstruate. So is not true that when we stop taking them during the 7 days between a package and another, we ovulate and menstruate immediately. What we have is vaginal bleeding in response to the lack of hormones. But actually your body needs about two weeks to re-produce the hormones and return to ovulate naturally.
Myth: If I forget to take it for a few days, I can take them back easily.
Reality: It depends. If you forget to take the pill for a day or two, you can continue taking two pills a day to catch up. But if you forget to take it for more than two days, it is best you start a new package. There is no problem will only alter your cycle, but will not affect your health. However, if you decide to have sex right in those days, you should protect yourself with some other method for a couple of days because your body probably started to react as if you were not taking hormones.
To find out more, learn about side effects and risks of birth control pills. And of course, feel free to consult your doctor.

New video conferencing in 3D at human scale

One of the many recurring fantasies of science fiction could become reality in the near future, according to the achievements of an investigator from Queens University in Canada.
The system, called "TELEPOD" replaces the current form of video conferencing via webcam by a cylinder of 1.8 meters, a convex mirror and six Kinect  cameras located in the upper area of  the structure, and a 3D system into the projector . In this way the user is captured and tracked in three dimensions, transmitting these images to the receiver, which can see everything from every angle of 360 degrees.
At the same time, the same researchers created a system called BodiPod, which under the same concept to generate a 3D interactive model of the human body and anatomy, to explore in detail, by choosing different layers or organs through the interaction of movement and voice

Currently the system is in the final steps and in discussions with companies for marketing

Electra Heart

Electra Heart is the new album from Marina And The Diamonds, this beautiful signer has changed her hair color to promote her new album, she stills playing with the "American" girl theme in her songs, but this time she takes another topics like, political and sex, becoming in four different womens wich are represented in her songs, this arquetypes are:

♡ Primadonna: she is totally drama-queen.
♡ Teen Idle: the mindless teenage with self-destructive tendencies.
♡ Homewrecker: like the name implies, a she-devil
♡Su-Barbie-A: the unhappy housewife because of the absence of love in her married life.

She made a secuense with the singles videos in Youtube, like the story of the album, in the Part 1, we have "Fear and Loathing" a song composed by her, with a strong lyric talking about taking changes, the Part 2 is "Radioactive" an electronic and very sticky song (but the acoustic version has another impression, you should listen both) Part 3, "The Arquetypes", Part 4 and my favorite song, is Primadonna. In the words of its author, 'Electra Heart' "represents the corrupt side of the American ideology", but is nothing more than superficially a record that "personifies love and break". She posted a handwritten tracklist for the album, which will feature 12 songs:

If you want to know more about this album and fall in love with her, watch this interview!

Electronic waste recycling this weekend in Santiago

For those who don’t know, Sunday is celebrated the Earth Day, and to celebrate a variety of initiatives. One is organized by the Providencia district in Santiago and probably more than any you will: it is a fair Electronic waste recycling.

The event started today at Bustamante Park (Bustamante and Bilbao), Las Lilas Square, the Ines de Suarez Park, Av The Hill (behind the Sheraton hotel), with Araucano Monitor street and the Plaza Melchor Concha Forest with William Edwards .

It’s expect to collect over 100 tons of garbage until Sunday 22, which will be taken to a plant to remove the devices and reuse most of components, and isolate those who are dangerous to health.

It accepts almost any type of electronic, except refrigerators because they are very large. But you can take old computers, printers, fax machines, washing machines, phones, televisions, radios, peripherals, etc...
